Bowling Green Country Club -South, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Front Royal, Virginia.
The South course at Bowling Green Country Club opened for play in 1991. The par 70 course was designed by Lynwood Morrison.
The South Course contrasts its sister to the north with minimal water hazards. However, it does possess its own challenges with large ample putting surfaces and rolling terrain through rows of mature white pines that place an emphasis on shot making.

Rolling terrain and tree lined fairways require precise ball positioning. Greens are generous, but well trapped.

The only negative of the course condition is the tee boxes on most holes are small and hard because of the absence of grass. Fairways and greens are much better. Cart paths are badly in need of repair.
